14 October 2025

The Global Alliance for Banking on Values (GABV) has announced the Leadership Academy Alumni Refresher Course 2025, scheduled to take place online on 13 November 2025. The two-hour interactive programme invites alumni of the GABV Leadership Academy to reconnect with key tools and insights that drive values-based leadership in the financial sector. The course is also open to those curious about values-based leadership and seeking a high-level introduction.

Designed for leaders navigating today’s complex and rapidly changing environment, the refresher course will revisit core concepts of Theory U, a transformative leadership framework developed by the Presencing Institute at MIT. Participants will explore how values-based banking can build resilience, foster innovation, and accelerate positive social and environmental change.

The session will be held in two global time slots — 11:00 CET and 16:30 CET — to accommodate participants across regions. Through dialogue, reflection, and peer collaboration, attendees will have the opportunity to renew their leadership practice, strengthen community ties, and share strategies for leading with purpose amid global challenges.

The GABV Leadership Academy, created in partnership with MIT CoLab and the Presencing Institute, is recognised as a pioneering programme for developing leaders in sustainable finance. It blends online and in-person learning across six modules, integrating coaching and experiential exercises that build both professional and personal capacity for systems change.

Registration for the Alumni Refresher Course is now open. Interested alumni can find more details and register via the u-school for Transformation website.
