Profitable and growing, the 28 banks in the Global Alliance for Banking on Values are independent, licensed financial institutions with combined assets of over $100 billion. Together they touch the lives of more than 20 million people in 30 countries.
While many of their mainstream contemporaries have been hit hard by the financial crisis, the GABV’s network of progressive values-based banks has largely flourished during it. Collectively they represent a significant constituency with a powerful voice. They share a commitment to build a more sustainable financial future that creates positive economic, social and environmental impact.
Expanding Our Network
The GABV is a growing network. New members and prospects for membership are sourced through existing relationships, partner organisations who we work closely with – such as FMO, the development bank of The Netherlands – and direct approaches from interested organisations.
