She explained that it was designed to give vulnerable women comprehensive, end-to-end support to help them better face life\u2019s challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What sets Vehivavy Mijoro apart is its holistic approach. It brings together:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>vocational training in sewing, hairdressing or catering;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the provision of equipment;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>financial support through training allowances, to encourage attendance and completion; and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ongoing mentoring throughout the process, to ensure the new livelihoods are sustainable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By combining skills, tools, income support and guidance, the programme addresses the practical barriers to starting a livelihood, rather than offering a single product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fifteen women are benefiting from the first cohort.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The programme highlights SIPEM Banque\u2019s commitment to empowering vulnerable women in Madagascar and shows how a bank can go beyond credit to build lasting economic independence.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In Madagascar, SIPEM Banque has launched Vehivavy Mijoro, a targeted programme that supports vulnerable women to achieve financial independence, start businesses and generate a sustainable income.
