The GABV is looking for a new colleague to join the team

 

Administrator/PA – Intern 

Zeist, The Netherlands

for 6 months, 24- 32 hours per week beginning in October 2017

 

Internship Description

The internship is relevant if you are interested in learning about non-profit organisation, values-based banking, and sustainable finance meanwhile you are doing:

  • Administrative support:
    • Office administration: HR, IT, Finance
    • Event coordination: internal and external meetings as well as an Annual Event (held all over the world)
    • Minute taking and follow up for secretariat meetings
    • GABV Board liaison: meeting coordination and briefing pack production
    • Update our CRM

 

  • Assistant to the Executive Director (logistics, travel, meeting and expenses)
  • Marketing and Communications support.
    • Social Media support
    • Support in drafting different messages and communications materials

 

  • Contributions to changes processes and improve systems.

Profile

This is an Internship so we are not looking for experience, what we need is a hands-on problem solver, discrete, pro-active and accurate, happy to manage multiple tasks at any given time. In exchange we will ensure you will gain knowledge and experience of office administration in the context of a non-profit foundation working in the area of values-based banking. You can be interested if you are:

 

  • Studying at Vocational level (MBO) or Bachelor Degree
  • A strong command of written and spoken English, as all meetings are conducted in English
  • Interest in Banking and the Financial Industry as well as sustainability and social development
  • Strong administrative skills

 

Note: applicants must be registered as students to an Institute/School and be nationals of a European member state or have a valid working permit for the European Union.

The GABV is looking for a new colleague to join the team

 

Intern – Communications (32 hours per week)

Zeist, The Netherlands

(Maximum 6 months)

Start date: November 2017

Please be aware that we can only consider applicants that already have a valid work and residence permit for The Netherlands and that are registered as a student throughout the internship.

 

During the internship, you will gain knowledge of values-based banking, as well as hands-on experience of delivering marketing and communications initiatives relating to the #BankingOnValues movement through the use of earned, owned, paid and social media.

Key tasks include:

  • Content coordination across earned, paid, owned and social media. Projects of interest include, web site and social media updates, Annual Report development, eZine production, member pack development, and GABV collateral;
  • Campaign and initiatives coordination. Projects of interest include the international #BankingOnValues Day, media relations, and the international Marketing and Communications Community of Practice;
  • Event coordination. Projects of interest include event management, support for the GABV Annual Meeting communication efforts, partner events, and sponsorship opportunities analysis and support.

 Profile

  • Relevant Bachelor or Masters studies with a genuine interest in cause-based communications and marketing;
  • Knowledge in the concept of values-based banking or values-based business;
  • A very strong command of written and spoken English; knowledge of Spanish is an advantage;
  • Experience in social media content development, planning and posting skills. Experience in Hootsuite an advantage;
  • Experience in content and messaging development;
  • Interest in banking and financial services, as well as sustainability, ethics, and social justice;
  • Experience in online communications channels e.g. eZines, web sites etc.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfort in multi-tasking. You will coordinate a variety of tasks associated with events, initiatives and campaigns. You will also draft content, take minutes and support in creating campaign proposals.
