James (United Kingdom), is Programme Manager for the GABV and the Head of Public Affairs at Triodos Bank. He has fifteen years’ experience communicating the work of values-driven organisations, including NGOs, government and business. Before joining Triodos Bank’s international office, James was responsible for external communications and marketing at its UK branch. Within the GABV secretariat his responsibilities include helping to develop and progress the GABV’s overall agenda and communications activities, providing support to the human capital and thought leadership action tracks, network expansion in Africa, Europe and Australia, and support for the GABV Chair and Steering Committee.

David (United States/Netherlands), has filled a number of senior and strategic roles in banking and financial services since 1976, starting at Shore Bank in Chicago and with more than 25 years at ABN AMRO in the US and the Netherlands. Within the GABV secretariat his responsibilities include helping to deliver results from the financial capital and impact metrics action tracks, network expansion in Asia and the Americas, research on the business case for sustainable banking, and providing general strategic guidance to the GABV Chair and Steering Committee.

Adele (South Africa), has fifteen years experience in project management and support within environment and development NGOs, non-profits, government and research institutions. Within the GABV secretariat her responsibilities include providing and managing the general administrative and operational support to all secretariat and network activities as well as the GABV action tracks, coordinating the internal and external GABV communications and events, and acting as the liaison point for the Global Alliance Values Ambassadors programme.
Intern GABV (September 2012 – May 2013)
Alexander (Germany/United States), is currently enrolled for a BSc. in International Business Administration at the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University in Rotterdam. Within the secretariat he supports the assessment of prospective member banks, assists with impact metrics research projects, and provides support on general GABV ‘on and offline’ communication and administration.
Intern GABV (March – August 2013)
Mengyang (China), is currently enrolled in the research master programme specialized in finance at Erasmus University in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Within the secretariat she is focused on delivering financial analyses on a variety of banks to support GABV’s research on the business case for sustainable banking.
