Internship Vacancy:

We are currently looking for a new Communications Intern to support the GABV.

During the internship the student will gain knowledge and experience of sustainable finance and banking subjects as well as hands on experience of communicating the impact of the world’s leading sustainable banks to a variety of audiences.

The intern will be working from the Head Office of Triodos Bank located in Zeist, the Netherlands. Minimum 6 months for 24 to 28 hours/week.

Please be aware that we can only consider applicants that already have a valid work and residence permit for The Netherlands and that are registered as a student throughout the internship period.

General Information

The GABV has a small secretariat in place to support its members and works from Triodos Bank’s Head Office in Zeist, The Netherlands.

As the GABV, we are focused on actively contributing to a sustainable society. Through this, we pay significant attention to human capital, in terms co-workers’ personal development as well as work related development. We regularly employ interns as an integral part of the team, providing a combination of specialist support for our action tracks and communications activity. During the internship, students gain knowledge and experience about sustainable finance and banking subjects as well as communications and administrative skills. Typically interns undertake three key types of task:

• Online media; e.g. develop and maintain content for, and the impact of, social media channels, and updates and improvements to the GABV website
• Organisational tasks; e.g.– providing administrative support for the annual GABV meeting, co-creating and editing conference materials, and other administrative tasks
• Research; e.g. research projects on financial institutions and sustainable banking, research sustainable banks for potential membership
